Starwood Hotels, owners of Sheraton, Westin, W, St Regis, Aloft etc, has recently launched a new online ‘daily play’ game called ‘Tap Into Luxury’.

You can play twice per day, per person, and it runs until September 30th.

No skill is required!  Simply enter your SPG credentials, spin the globe and see what comes up.

The website to play is here.

You can play as long as your SPG account is registered in one of the following countries:

United States (including the District of Columbia), Canada (excluding Quebec), Australia, Austria, Brazil, Belgium, China, Egypt, France, Germany, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Malaysia, Mexico, New Zealand, Philippines, Portugal, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, South Africa, South Korea, Switzerland, Taiwan, Thailand, Turkey, United Arab Emirates and United Kingdom

What can I win?

The instant win prizes are:

195 free night vouchers valid for Category 1-5 hotels

390 prizes of 500 – 5,000 Starpoints

US residents can win additional iTunes and Ticketmaster vouchers

The grand prize is 250,000 SPG points – convertible into 300,000 Avios!

Reading between the lines, it seems that you only get one entry into the grand prize draw at the end of the competition regardless of how many times you play.

The daily prizes are not impressive enough to warrant dedicating time to this game every day until 30th September.  It is worth having a go once, however, to make sure you are in the grand prize draw to win 250,000 SPG points.  The entry link is here.

    Website link currently not working.

    hope to try later!

    • Simon says:

I don’t think the url is correct in the link, it should be spgpromos.com/tapintoluxury

      • Rob says:

Fixed, it was going to the URL in the terms and conditions which was spg.com (although it should have redirected)

  • avidsaver says:

Completely OT – but for anyone like me who played the Iberia Avios Magazine Competition ages ago – check your account. My 50 Avios were (at long last) credited to my account yesterday!

    • Dan says:

Same here! I had given up hope to be honest – so a nice (if not that rewarding) surprise i guess!

    • Andrew (@andrewseftel) says:

      Ditto

      • Jon says:

Ditto, but still waiting for 50 Avios points from the ‘Iberia Summer Flights’ competition where, regardless of whether you win one of the 600 flights, every entrant will receive 50 Avios. This competition came about 2 weeks after the Avios Magazine Competition, so I expect we will receive these in the next few weeks or so.

I’m not a member of SPG, anyone know if there any extra points available for joining through a special link or code? Cheers

  • Gavin says:

Just to let everyone know you can win. I’ve just won the lowest prize of 500 points, winning the grand prize would be nice.

  • Kathy H says:

I have played the game every day since it started – now all I get is you are not eligible to play – anyone else having this problem?

  • Kathy H says:

It is working properly again today.
