Maximise your Avios, air miles and hotel points

100 bonus Avios for first 3,000 purchases at the Avios estore today

As ‘Black Friday’ deals go it is not going to win any prizes for generosity.

However, if you are doing any Christmas shopping online today then remember that the Avios estore is giving 100 bonus Avios points to the first 3,000 transactions.

This promotion is only for the Avios store and not the British Airways Gate 365 store.

The offer started at midnight but I very much doubt that they are anywhere near 3,000 transactions yet.  The offer is scheduled to end at midnight on December 4th if they have not processed 3,000 transactions before that.

The Avios estore is also offering double Avios on various retailers at the moment.  These include John Lewis, Marks & Spencer and Tesco Direct.

In a separate competition, four people who make a purchase via the estore before December 20th will win 50,000 Avios.

Mmmm i am sooooo excited!! 🙂 ahahhaah

  • Dave Stringer says:

Bought the other half a £3 book.

    Does that qualify?

  • Anon says:

Noticed hotel tonight have a Black Friday deal. Dunno if it’s any good.

    • Scottnothing says:

I only saw two London hotels available this morning at 7am: Hoxton Holborn and Citadines Holborn.

The new Hoxton is a great hotel – very similar to the one in Shoreditch. It is geared towards twenty-to-thirty something advertising/marketing/media types, so won’t suit all tastes, but the rooms are decent and great value for £7. I stayed there during the press launch a few months back.

Sadly I didn’t manage to score a room this time (due to not having my CC loaded to the app in advance).

It was a rather heavily promoted deal for what feels like a rather small number of rooms on offer.

      • Rob says:

Hoxton Holborn is very nice, I went to a HotelTonight party there recently. Annoyingly, despite being up early due to early rising kids (5.30!) I forgot about this!

  • Phillip says:

And additional 50% Avios for House of Fraser for those looking at utilising the £20 off Amex offer.

  • Scottnothing says:

No, you won’t be told if you made the cut.

The terms and conditions state: “Shoppers will not be notified if they are or are not one of the successful 3000 (three thousand) bonus Avios recipients.”
