  Just a Head Up to point out that the flat bed 763 on MAN-ORD only features until late October 27 after which it will revert back to the old 757 withe the sloping seats. I don’t know what the longer terms plans for the route are.

    I think they usually swap for a 767 in the summer, have done for the last few years I think. Then it’s usually back to the smaller bird.

      MAN-JFK has consistently been served by a 757 year round IME. The 763 is usually on MAN-ORD although I’m seeing changes there as well.

      Apologies. My original post should refer to MAN-JFK. In my defence, it was very early in the morning!! It will be the refurbished 763 to late October and then back to the 757. Sorry for the confusion.

    Maybe not. I read the (main) T&Cs and this is what I got:

    General terms Point (13) “To keep accumulated HHonors Points, the Member must take one of the following actions within a 12 consecutive month period:a. stay at a hotel within the Hilton Worldwide portfolio pursuant to the terms herein;
    b. earn HHonors Points through any third party source of HHonors Point accumulation, including a Hilton co-branded credit card, pursuant to its terms;
    c. purchase HHonors Points; or,
    d. donate points through The Hilton HHonors Giving Back Program.”

    Then later under Accrual of Points (2) put:
    “Points may also be earned for other activities as designated by Hilton HHonors Worldwide, L.L.C., from time to time.”

    This seems to differential between qualifying activity to stop points expiring and other activity like this. I hope I am wrong however as this would be handy for me to stop points expiring.

      Hmm, I also read the T&Cs ad it says points will only be credited after 6-8 weeks, so I’ll have to do an e-rewards transfer…

  With Hilton saying that just using numbers is not secure enough for protecting your account (I agree) it makes me think I’ll avoid storing too many Avios in my Iberia Plus account, just in case!

      I’ve got an iMac.
      I’ve always thought you couldn’t diploid a DVD to iTunes. I did it with some CD’s years ago but can’t remember how I did it.
      HMV told me it couldn’t be done.

        It is definitely possible, I do it all the time. You need to upload your dvd onto your mac and convert it to a format iTunes can read. The easiest way to do this is to use one of the video converters available for the Mac. Handbrake is a very popular one, .https://handbrake.fr My favourite and the one I use is smart converter for mac as this allows you to choose the mac product you want to convert it for. http://www.shedworx.com/smartconverter You can get it from the app store on your Mac.

  After that, they could see and do everything available to the legitimate holder of that account, such as changing the account password; viewing past and upcoming travel; redeeming Hilton Honors points for travel or hotel reservations worldwide; or having the points sent as cash to prepaid credit cards or transferred to other Hilton Honors accounts. The vulnerability also exposed the customer’s email address, physical address, and the last four digits of any credit card on file.

  Ironically, the vulnerability was discovered through a recent Hilton campaign that awarded 1,000 free awards points to people who changed their online password prior to April 1, after which the change was to become mandatory.”
