UPDATE – APRIL 2024:  This article is now out of date, but don’t worry.  We produce a monthly summary of the top hotel bonus point offers – please click HERE or use the ‘Hotel Offers’ menu above.

The Hyatt hotel group, which also includes the Andaz chain, has launched a special offer in partnership with British Airways.

Until September 30th, you will receive triple Avios points – 1,500 per stay – when you credit your stay to British Airways Executive Club.

Hyatt Regency Churchill

If you choose this offer, you will NOT receive any Hyatt Gold Passport points.  It is therefore of most use to non-frequent Hyatt guests who have little use for a handful of points.

You do NOT need to register for this offer.  You must, however, use code BA377 when booking your stay at hyatt.com or any Hyatt family site.

The good news is that adding code BA377 to your booking does NOT increase the price you pay.  All room types and all room packages are still bookable, so the 1,500 Avios are a genuine extra bonus.

Full details can be found on the Hyatt website here.

That doesn’t seem like the most generous of offers. Hyatt have a double points promo on at the moment anyway, so unless you’re in a really cheap Hyatt I’d say avoid.

5,000 Hyatt points converts to 2,000 BA miles

You earn 5 Hyatt points per $ spent, but that’s double for for summer.

So if you’re spending more than £300 per stay, this isn’t a very good deal. And if you already have some orphaned Hyatt points, the cut off is going to move to around £200.
