Miles and points offers which are about to close

As the end of the month is approaching, there are a lot of deals going away.  The key one to consider is the increased sign-up bonuses on the Virgin Atlantic credit cards which I summarised again this week in this article.

And, of course, today is the last day to buy Avios for as little as 1.0p via Iberia.

    I haven’t had the virgin card (white card) for about a year, would I be eligible for bonus again?

    • Rob says:

      It isn’t clear. The ‘no 2nd bonus ever’ rule has gone from the site – does that mean you can churn now?

      • James6u says:

        Interesting, may give it a try on virgin black again as an experiment next time bonus is increased. Cannot do it right now as I’ve had three nes cards in two months and lo have. to hit £9k of spending on those.

  • Grimz says:

    The only way to find out is apply then!

    Hello,

    Can anyone help??

    My partner holds a supplementary to my BAPP Card. If she opens her own account at her home address ( which is different to my registered address).

    Will she;
    A) Be allowed to have the card?
    B) Receive the welcome bonus of 25K?

    Kind Regards

    I applied for a VIRGIN WHITE card (my income is also the household income at 22000). Applied for the same cArd for partner who is currently home maker due to health reasons, despite confirming with virgin on the phone that I can apply with our household income, this option never came up – hence partners income was £0 . Got rejected , not surprised. Partners credit score is nearing excellent and has another credit card on tesco for almost a year, never missed payments, well under half the credit is actually used. No debts, so I don’t get why I was never given the household income option??!!! I was furious. We also need to apply for a new joint account soon (with TSB, she already has a sole account with) will this affect our chances? I have an excellent credit score.
