Wyndham Rewards, the Ramada / Days Inn programme, is not hugely popular in the UK.  However, I know a few of you will have their points knocking around.

If you do, this flash sale – running from 3pm on Tuesday – has some astonishing deals available if you are in the first 50 people to book.

This is a cut-and-paste from a press release I just received.  I confirmed that 3pm does relate to 3pm UK time.

“To celebrate that Wyndham Rewards members can now redeem their points when staying at Cottages.com’s private holiday homes, Wyndham Rewards is holding a flash sale starting today! From 3pm this afternoon until 2.59pm on Friday 3rd March, it will be possible to book properties in the Cottages.com portfolio, regardless of number of rooms, for just 15,000 points per night.

With some properties usually costing as many as 120,000 points a night, this is a huge saving! If a Wyndham Rewards customer were to book such a property for a full week during the sale, it would cost them fewer points than if they were to book a single night outside the sale.

Members will need to hurry though as the sale is limited to the first 50 Wyndham Rewards members who book with a minimum of 2 nights and a maximum of 7 nights.”

What a steal. I’m on of those without any Wyndham points.
Anyone know if bought points post instantly?

    • John says:

Have you forgotten the recent Wyndham fiasco? It may be a good deal if you have points but I wouldn’t be buying any

  • Lady London says:

Wow. I had no idea. Could be worth paying attention to Wyndham Rewards in the future.

OT are BA perhaps struggling with the legal opinion about their apparent targeting of passengers booked on 2-4-1 reward tickets for downgrade, that IIRC was promised you for Monday of this week Rob?

    • Worzel says:

I have been wondering about the delay too.

It will be interesting to hear what they come up with!

  • RJJ says:

Wow, shame I only have 1000 Wyndham points.

I really should pay more attention to WR – I owe them as much since a measly stay at a Day’s Inn last year was what got me into the miles and points hobby. Since then I’ve churned out 5 credit cards thanks to this blog!
