Miles and points offers which are about to close

The Hilton Sale with discounts of up to 35% finishes on Monday. Remember that many American Express cardholders have a new offer of £50 cashback on £250 of spend at selected hotels in Europe – click here for details.  This should combine with the sale.

Our exclusive Kaligo.com hotel promotion will end on 31st March. If you book £700-worth of hotels via Kaligo.com before the end of March – for stays until 31st December – you will earn 8,000 bonus Avios on top of Kaligo’s base Avios.  New customers to Kaligo.com will get an additional 2,000 bonus Avios.  Full details are here.

    A bit off topic but does anyone know when I will be able to choose my BA seats and pay with Avios?

      I think you’re looking at months rather than weeks. I also expect a weak value of around 0.6p per point so they may best be used elsewhere.

    Completely O/T
    There are a few SPG properties that were supposed to drop in categories, but never did. They kept their higher categories. Namely Sheraton Salzburg Fuschlsee, a few hotels in Seoul and Le Meridien Rome. Quite dishonest and leaves a bitter aftertaste.

    Rob, maybe you could reach SPG for a comment?
