Maximise your Avios, air miles and hotel points

Get 25% off (max £50) at Amazon when you sign up to Amazon Business

Links on Head for Points may support the site by paying a commission.  See here for all partner links.

At various points over the last couple of years, we have run a very generous promotion with Amazon Business.  For Amazon Prime Day 2021, it is back.

If you sign up, for FREE, to Amazon Business you can save up to £50 on your next Amazon purchase.  You can sign up here.

(I know this is outside our usual ‘miles and points’ coverage – so don’t moan! – but this is a good offer. We receive a commission from Amazon for Amazon Business sign-ups which keeps us ticking over until you all start booking flights and hotels again.)

If you have your own business and sign it up – for FREE – to Amazon Business before 22nd June, you can use code ABPD21 to get 25% off your next Amazon purchase, up to a maximum £50 off.

The discount code activates 48 hours after your Amazon Business account is verified. You can’t use it immediately after registration.

Virtually all items on the Amazon UK website which are sold directly by Amazon, not from third party sellers, are included.  You do NOT need to spend the voucher buying business supplies.  Alcohol, clothing, books …. anything you like, as long as it is sold by Amazon and not a third party.  You need to redeem the voucher by 30th July.

To sign up to Amazon Business you need to click here or click the ad above.

As a reminder ….

As a reminder, Amazon Business combines Amazon’s existing selection, convenience and value with additional business-specific features including:

  • bulk pricing
  • Pay by Invoice (subject to satisfactory credit checks and credit limit)
  • downloadable VAT invoices
  • spend management tools

You can find out more on the registration page here

The offer closes on 22nd June.

PS. I strongly recommend that you do NOT use the same email address which you use for your standard Amazon account. There is a risk that your existing Amazon account gets converted into an Amazon Business one, which you don’t want to happen.

PPS. Don’t forget that the Amazon Business American Express credit card currently comes with a £100 Amazon gift card just for signing up (no spend target). There is no annual fee for the first year and, importantly, you qualify for the bonus irrespective of what other American Express cards you hold. Read this HfP article for details.

Applied for Amazon Business on 19.06 around 6 pm, just tried to buy something via the business account and not seeing the 25% discount. I’ve even applied for the Prime Business (with a free month trial), I thought it may trigger the discount, but no! Oh well, all fun trying anyway…

Did you have the email saying your account is verified? Did you use the promo code, and on products sold by Amazon itself (not third party sellers)?

      • Jake says:

Hi Rob, thanks for getting back! I used the promo code and received the following email straight after registering the account: “Welcome to Amazon Business. The information you provided has been verified and your account registration is now complete.” Now you mentioned, I’m not sure if the electric toothbrush I tried to buy with the Amazon Prime Day discount was sold by Amazon or a 3rd party. I ended up buying it via my personal account but will check if I can still get 25% off on Amazon items.
