Here are some more Black Friday offers which dropped in this morning.

If anything else turns up during Friday then I will add them to the bottom of this article.  Hopefully this is it for 2019.

If you came to this page from Google, we have another five articles covering the best UK travel deals for Black Friday.  Visit our home page to see them.

Lomond Lounge and parking at Glasgow Airport

We rate the new Lomond Lounge at Glasgow (see our review, image below).  Code BF2019 gets you 20% off lounge entry or airport parking, excluding long stay ‘special deals’.  Book by Tuesday, visit until August 2020!  Book here.

Lomond Lounge Glasgow

Northern Lights Lounge and parking at Aberdeen Airport

We’re also fans of the lovely Northern Lights lounge in Aberdeen (reviewed here).  Code BF2020 gets you 20% off lounge entry or airport parking.  Book by Tuesday, visit until August 2020!  Book here.

Cathay Pacific

…. has a range of flight deals in all classes across Asia.  Nothing jumped out at me as being outstanding but it is worth a quick look if planning a trip.  Book by Monday.  Book here.

Air France

…. also got in touch to promote its global offers.  Shanghai at £1,489 from UK airports was the best Business Class deal.  Dubai and Delhi at around £1,300 are also interesting.  Further details here.

Lufthansa

In our earlier article we highlighted Lufthansa’s  £25 promotional code for short-haul bookings made by Monday night. It is valid for travel between 6th January and 29th May 2020.

The offer originally required you to travel with a child aged between 2 and 11.  This rule has now been removed and anyone can now claim the £25 discount.

You can find the promo code and the full rules on the Lufthansa site here.

Vueling

….. has a lot of fares reduced to €9.99 if you fancy a trip down to Barcelona from your local airport.  Home page here.

Etihad

Etihad’s Black Friday deals are not the best – you are looking at over £2,000 for Business Class to most destinations.  However, I was attracted by £1,411 return in Business Class from Manchester or London to Abu Dhabi.  Remember that you getting the very impressive Business Class Studio.  You can book here.  Book by Monday for travel up to 30th June.

Amazon

Finally, here is a quick round-up of discounts on Amazon’s own-brand core devices.  Our Amazon link here pays us a small commission on your purchase – thank you.

Virgin are doing London to Boston, for return in J for £929. You can route through JFK to try the A350 too. Downside is it appears only to be January to March!

Question regarding SPG Amex. How quickly do the sign up bonus points show up after spending £1k? Is it with the transaction that takes me over £1k or some time later? Thanks

  • Andrew says:

Have a 1500 Nectar Points offer (via Nectar App) when you spend £20 on click and collect at Argos.

They also have the Echo Dot with Clock for £34.99. So that’s one Christmas present sorted with a £7.50 discount (or £15 if I save until next Novembers double-up).

Booked a few flights using the Lufthansa code, they are non refundable but Lufthansa refund the taxes on flights for free if you cancel so with the code the cash element is so low I’ll get almost all my money back if I cancel.
