Get £80 cashback on Qatar Airways flights with American Express

The latest travel company to offer a cashback offer on American Express cards is Qatar Airways. The offer is £80 back on £800+ spend.

We have had numerous comments from people who have this offer so it seems to be fairly widespread.  You need to look on the ‘offers’ tab on the online statement page for every Amex card you have.

The offer is open to the first 8,000 people who ‘save’ the offer to their card. You must book by 27th March 2020 which gives you plenty of time to wait for a good promotion to come around.

The key restriction is that it is only valid on flights departing from the UK (Heathrow, Gatwick, Manchester, Edinburgh, Birmingham, Cardiff).  It is NOT valid on ex-EU bookings.

Don’t forget there are also strong Amex cashback offers running for Malaysia Airlines (details here) and Hilton (details here).

You need to book directly via the Qatar Airways website to trigger the cashback.

PS.  If you missed it, take a look at our recent article on the top 10 reasons why you should get the American Express Platinum card.

    2. Tgere is an offer for 500 bonus points for buying 20+ L at Esso. Not sure how they can tell given it is a swipe card offer and not an Esso app offer.

Up until now, flights in and out of Haneda have only been able to operate in very limited corridors, primarily over Tokyo Bay. What’s making the Haneda expansion possible is that Japan will get to control more airspace around Tokyo – since WWII the airspace has been managed by the US, now Japan gets more control.
