What British Airways long-haul flights are scheduled for June?

If you think that there are no British Airways long-haul flights currently running, think again.  On paper at least, the airline is planning a schedule for June.

Even if you have no intention of travelling – or if the country won’t let you in! – the flights may well operate for cargo purposes or to bring travellers back home.  As we covered in our article today on IAG’s Quarter 1 results, British Airways is currently breaking even on its flying programme due to the large amount of cargo being carried.

The list below was published by Routes Online on Thursday afternoon.  We have checked it and it appears to be accurate.

This list is clearly hugely speculative – although the flights ARE bookable on ba.com

Sorry but without any context this is meaningless and does not help other people get their status extended.

    • Andrew says:

      Is it April 1st again?!

    • Cheshire Pete says:

Was this an automatic communication, or result of an enquiry by yourself?

  • Riccatti says:

The point being: when regular flights were stopped in March, all airlines expected reinstatement in May and nearly back full schedule in June.

No one thought the Summer season will be completely cancelled.

    • Nick_C says:

“No one thought the Summer season will be completely cancelled.”

Perhaps that is true of the airlines. Perhaps that is true of many passengers. Some people, including the PM, have difficulty accepting that this nightmare is in fact reality.

  • The Original David says:

What about Beijing? The haven’t yet cancelled my PKX-LHR in mid-June…

    • Yan says:

No international flight to/from PKX since March 13. No non-stop international flight to/from PEK from the end of March. Given the elevated level of disease surveillance in Beijing (w/ 21-day enforced quarantine) with the UK standing firm as a global epicentre, the likelihood of BA returning to PKX in 2020 is very slim.

  • Robert says:

These articles are pointless as the actual flights operating will certainly change. THe short haul ones are more interesting.

    • Chrisasaurus says:

Disagree Id suggest there is a reason this list contains the routes it does – be it cargo demand, or strong essential travel demand aid expect this to be accurate by now

  • greyt says:

Both BA daily flights from LHR to MIA have been zeroed out for all of June overnight

    • Riccatti says:

That’s because BA / passengers don’t expect that visitors will be admitted to the US in June.

  • Blumie says:

Looks like DXB and AUH have been zeroed out for all of June

  • steve says:

I can’t see any flight with BA from LHR to Montreal in June. They don’t see to start until July.

  • M R Bennett says:

TLV June 21 Cancelled! No flights until July at the earliest
