We have decided to run this new daily chat thread on Head for Points.

Historically, the daily ‘Bits’ articles were the de facto repository for random comments and questions.  It is unlikely that the news flow will be so big over the next few weeks that we will need many ‘Bits’ articles, however.

The comments under this article are where you should post questions about travel and, indeed, anything else on your mind.  At this tricky time, and given that many of you are stuck at home self-isolating, we want the HFP community to have a place to chat.

Please only comment under the main articles on the site if your comment is directly related to the topic of the article.  This has long-term benefits as its keeps the commentary relevant for people who read those articles in the future.

    Hello. Can someone clarify the following please

    If I cancel a reward flight one way (taxes 17.50) booked for next year And chose a FTV is the voucher for the cash element and the avios put back in my Account or is it both cash and avios stuck on said voucher?

    I have recently taken out a supplementary Amex card for my wife, She has registered online but has no offers – which I can understand as there is no track record of her spending – but can she get Shop Small added, at least? Or is it too late?

      I assume she added it to her own account? Shop small should appear on all accounts, whether main or supplementary. It usually takes a couple of weeks at least for offers to appear on accounts. With shop small you should be able to have it added manually if it has been longer than a month with no offers appearing.
