Today is the final day of Marriott Bonvoy’s ‘Week of Wonders‘ and your last chance to win a stay at a top UK Marriott International hotel.

Today we are offering a night at the iconic W London hotel. You’ll find details of how to enter at the bottom of the article.

First, to finish off the week, we thought we’d do one final recap of some of the offers that have been included in the Marriott Bonvoy ‘Week of Wonders’.

25% off standard hotel rates plus a free breakfast for Bonvoy members

Marriott Bonvoy members can stay at hotels until 31st October 2020 with 25% off standard rates in Europe, Middle East and Africa. With coronavirus travel restrictions in place, you are pretty much limited to UK hotel stays. However, there are a number of hotels in Greece and Germany in this offer and there is some travel permitted to these countries (do check the gov.uk website first though as Germany is blocked to some). All hotels included in this offer can be found using this page.

Get a 50% bonus when you buy Bonvoy points

Until 22nd October 2020 you will get 50% more points when you buy or gift 2,000 or more Bonvoy points.

The annual cap is also tripled from 50,000 points to 150,000 which when combined with the bonus gives you the opportunity to pick up an additional 225,000 Bonvoy points. Find out more about this offer here.

Get a free hotel night when you book with Homes & Villas by Marriott International

If you book and stay at one of the Homes & Villas by Marriott International – Marriott’s holiday rental portfolio – properties before the end of 2020, you will be credited a free night for future use at a Marriott International hotel.

You’ll need to book a stay at Homes & Villas for at least three nights to qualify for the offer. The free night is valid for six months for any hotel room costing 35,000 points or less.

You can read about the full details of the offer and terms and conditions here. It could work out nicely if you stayed in a cheap rental home and then used your free hotel night for an expensive hotel.

Today’s competition – win a stay at the iconic W London hotel

The prize for today’s ‘Week of Wonders’ competition is a pretty enviable one, particular as it includes a stay at a hotel that no one at HfP has stayed in, but we are itching to do so!

The winner of today’s competition will win a one night stay at the super-stylish W London hotel. This includes dinner and cocktails at the W London’s The Perception Bar. Definitely one for the glamour-seekers amongst our readers.

The prize is valid for any Friday or Saturday night up to 31st July 2021.

You can find out more about the hotel on its website here.

As with the previous competitions this week, you only have until midnight to enter and it simply requires answering one question. Good luck!

Please read the terms and conditions in the entry widget. For clarity, entrants must be UK residents and must be physically based in the UK today to enter.

We wanted to take the opportunity to thank Marriott International for sponsoring all the competition prizes this week. We will announce the full list of winners next week.

  • Colin MacKinnon says:

Little bit annoyed that Marriott are giving away Platinum – i.e. free breakfast – with credit cards in the USA.

Free brekkie is why I like Hilton!

    • Rob says:

Hilton has given away Diamond with US cards for a while. And even Amex Plat UK gives away Hilton Gold with brekky.

What IS poor is that the Bonvoy Amex UK only gives Gold for £15,000 spend. If it gave Platinum I could be tempted.

      • Harry T says:

        Good point, Rob!

@Colin it will be a long time before Americans are visiting the same destinations as the rest of us, so I wouldn’t worry.

        • Colin MacKinnon says:

Except we have family in the USA!

          • Harry T says:

Hotel status is pretty worthless in the US, unless you are top tier, no? Everyone has Hilton Diamond from credit cards, and you can get 30 elite night credits from the personal and business Bonvoy cards anyway.

  • Colin MacKinnon says:

@Rob – free Plat for 15k would make Bonvoy card a keeper for me.

    • Harry T says:

Agreed! Though the 15 nights are handy too.

    • Chrisasaurus says:

Cmon – the card is what £75 a year?

If HFP published an article titled “get Marriott Platinum for £75 spend” the place would go bananas. Which tells you that, unless the difference in value of 30k Marriott points and whatever else you could obtain from spending the 15k on another card is enormous, it would undervalue the platinum status significantly
