See the British Grand Prix with your Hilton Honors hotel points

One of the biggest perks of being a UK-based member of Hilton Honors is the ability to benefit from Hilton’s sponsorship of the McLaren Formula 1 team.

There are numerous McLaren events thoughout the year which are available for Hilton Honors points, but the big one is always tickets for the British Grand Prix.

Tickets for the 2021 event, on 18th July at Silverstone, are now up for auction.

There are three auctions:

• Qualifying Day – Friday 16th July – 4 packages for 2 people – current bid 75,000 points

• Sprint Race – Saturday 17th July – 4 packages for 2 people – current bid 100,000 points

• Race Day – Sunday 18th July – 4 packages for 2 people – current bid 162,500 points

All packages are for two people and include:

• VIP access
• Entry to the McLaren Formula 1 Experience Paddock Club Suite
• A virtual tour of the McLaren Formula 1 team garage
• A one-night stay at DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Milton Keynes including breakfast (the stay is for the evening after your event)

Did you know that the Virgin Atlantic credit cards are a great way of earning Hilton Honors points? Two Virgin Points can be converted into three Hilton Honors points. The Virgin Atlantic cards are the only Visa or Mastercard products in the UK which can indirectly earn Hilton Honors points. You can apply here.

You can also earn Hilton Honors points indirectly with:

• American Express Gold (20,000 bonus Amex points)
• American Express Rewards Credit Card (10,000 bonus Amex points)

and for small business owners:

• American Express Business Gold (20,000 bonus Amex points)
• American Express Business Platinum (40,000 bonus Amex points)

The conversion rate from American Express to Hilton points is 1:2.
