Important dates for your diary – offers about to close which you shouldn’t miss

In the hope, if not the expectation, that we will see a return to some international travel soon, we have revived this ‘last chance’ feature.  It ran every two weeks for a number of years until we suspended it last March.

The aim of this feature is to summarise offers that are ending soon.  Years of experience of running offers for HfP readers has made it very clear that a large proportion like to leave things to the last minute ….

It pulls together the different deals mentioned in our daily articles and on our Top Avios Points Earning Offers, Top Hotel Bonus Points Offers and Top UK Credit Card Offers pages.

Hotel promotions

Here are registration links for the current hotel promotions from the major chains:

Hilton Honors – double or triple points on stays between 3rd May and 6th September – register here

IHG Rewards – earn double base points on your 2nd stay after registration and 3x base points on third and subsequent stays after registration.  Offer runs between 15th May and 16th August.  Register here.

World of Hyatt – earn 2,500 bonus points for every two nights you stay until 15th June.  Nights do not need to be consecutive and you receive an additional free night voucher after 10 nights.  Registration is now closed, however.

Marriott, Accor and Radisson are not currently running global promotions.

Dates for your diary

American Express Shop Small began on 5th June and offers you £5 cashback when you spend £15 at participating small shops – details here.

Tuesday 15th June

Last day for stays to count towards Hyatt’s ‘2,000 bonus points for every two nights’ promotion

Last day to receive bonus Avios for spending on the British Airways American Express Premium Plus card

Wednesday 16th June

Last day to book Radisson Rewards redemptions before many properties devalue – the programme splits into two on the following day

Friday 18th June

Last day to get 2,000 Virgin Points by setting up auto-convert on your Tesco Clubcard account

Sunday 20th June

Last day for a 30% discount when buying Marriott Bonvoy points

Tuesday 22nd June

Last day for the British Airways and BA Holidays sale (holiday offers here, flight offers here)

Friday 25th June

Final day for the American Express ‘Shop Small’ promotion

Wednesday 30th June
