Important dates for your diary – offers about to close which you shouldn’t miss

The aim of this feature is to summarise flight, hotel and points offers that are ending soon.  Everything listed below has been covered on HfP in recent weeks, but years of experience of running offers for HfP readers has made it very clear that a large proportion like to leave things to the last minute ….

Hotel promotions

Here are registration links for the current hotel promotions from the major chains:

• Hilton Honors – double base points on stays between 7th September and 31st December – register here

• IHG Rewards – double base points on your 2nd stays and triple base points on subsequent stays between 1st October and 31st December – register here

• Marriott Bonvoy – 1,500 bonus points on all stays from 14th September to 12th December – register here

• Radisson Rewards – double base points on all stays from 15th October to 19th December – register here

Accor and Hyatt are not currently running a global promotion.

Sunday 21st November

Last day for American Express Platinum cardholders to save £100 on a £400 spend at Amex Travel (£50 off £200 for Green / Gold)

Last day to join IHG Rewards as a new member to qualify for the ‘free night after two stays’ offer (stay by 26th December)

Last day for £100 cashback on £250 spent at WorldHotels, for selected Amex cardholders

Last day to save £50 on the annual fee for the HSBC Premier World Elite credit card

Last day to enter Virgin Red’s free competition to win 1 million Virgin Points

Last day to get a SkyTeam status match from your British Airways status
