Accor LIve Limitless has launched a ‘double points’ promotion for stays in selected European countries, including the UK.

You can register here.

As usual with Accor offers, existing bookings made before registration won’t count so you will need to cancel and rebook any upcoming stays to earn the bonus. You should obviously check the cancellation terms and the current selling price before you do this.

Here are the rules:

  • you must book between whenever you register and 21st June
  • you must stay between 1st July and 18th September
  • there is a two night minimum stay requirement
  • you can earn the bonus up to three times

The offer is valid at hotels in Albania, Andorra, Armenia, Austria, Azerbaijan, Belgium, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, France, French Guyana, Georgia, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Macedonia, Malta, Moldova, Monaco, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Reunion Island, Romania,Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and United Kingdom.

What are double Accor points worth?

Our article on what we think Accor Live Limitless points are worth is here.

1 point is worth 2 Eurocents off your next booking, although you need to redeem in chunks of 2,000 points.

The standard earn rate at most brands is 2.5 points per €1. Double base points means 5 points per €1. This means 10 Eurocents of free stays for every €1 you spend, pre-tax, which is a decent return. Anyone with elite status will earn even more.

You can also transfer your Accor points to Avios although you lose value compared to using them for a discount on a future stay. Ensure you transfer into Iberia Plus, where the rate to Avios is 1:1, rather than British Airways Executive Club or Qatar Privilege Club, where the rate is 2:1. You can move your Avios into your BA account via ‘Combine My Avios’.

You can find out more, and register, here.

  • Neal says:

Really don’t like how restrictive the T&Cs are for Accor promotions.
Will stick with Hilton … Get free breakfast too as a Diamond.

Platinum with Accor and genuinely feel like it’s worth noting.

    • Dominic Barrington says:

I’m puzzled by your remarks, Neal. I became Accor Platinum almost by accident after a slightly excessive summer holiday in a Fairmount. But I get lounge access now at the LHR property, which is a nice thing to have, and I think I’m right in saying that in North America I get breakfast as well…

      • Rob says:

I’m in the same boat, being Diamond as a result of an excessive Autumn holiday in Barbados last year!

Free breakfast on weekdays is arguably not too much to offer (and they don’t). However, now that suite upgrades are bookable online, I am seeing some real value here as a benefit – with kids, having a GUARANTEED suite upgrade is real value as we can just book the one room and we know everyone is accommodated. That said, I’m looking at using it at a Fairmont and Fairmont lounges are excluded from the Diamond lounge benefit ….

Soft landing to Platinum is also a key benefit – very few hotel schemes do soft landings.
