If you are planning a trip to the Bicester Village designer shopping outlet village soon, there is a generous Avios offer available.

Until 31st August, you will earn 4 Avios for every £1 you spend at Bicester Village.

In order to do this, you must credit your purchases to a Qatar Privilege Club account. As long you as you have linked your British Airways Executive Club and Qatar Privilege Club accounts – click here to learn how – you can quickly sweep them across to BA.

Bicester Village Avios offer

If you choose to credit your purchases to a British Airways account, you will only receive the usual Avios earning rate of 1.25 Avios per £1 spent.

It is worth noting that a new American Express cashback offer for Bicester Village has also appeared on many cards. This will get you £100 cashback on a single transaction of £500+ made by 25th September.

You can even triple dip with this offer. Some payment cards, including American Express Platinum charge cards and HSBC Jade debit cards, allow you to receive a 10% Bicester Village discount card from the welcome area by the railway station. Alternatively, you can download the discount card here.

Nothing stops you getting the 10% discount plus triggering the American Express cashback plus getting the ‘4 Avios per £1’ on the same purchase. I did a similar triple dip when I was there a couple of months ago.

I saw that booth 13 days ago except it didn’t have the entrance showing and I’m certain i didn’t see the mention of the competition but it did have the Amex card branding The booth is opposite the customer service desk. It takes up quite a bit of space. I am glad it wasn’t open as I definitely wouldn’t have participated but I guess some people are happy to provide their mug shot as publicity in exchange for the chance to win some Avios. Very odd competition

Visited Bicester village for first time the other day. What a depressing dump. All clothing was with small or extra smal or extra extra large or extra extra extra large. Visited about 20 shops and not one had a large shirt. It was as annoying as shopping in TK Maxx. Fine if you are a fashionista always looking for the occasional bargain but a waste of time for most folk. I would never visit again.

There is an element of that – I come away with nothing about half the time.

  • Roosit says:

Any idea whether this offer works with the other villages, like the ones in Germany? I can’t see Qatar as a flight reward partner on the German villages’ websites so assume the answer is “no” – happy to be told I’m wrong though!
