Flybe is getting in on the seasonal ski routes sector this Winter with the addition of flights to Geneva from Birmingham.

This isn’t a totally new route for Birmingham – easyJet already operates to Geneva – but it does offer an additional option and brings some competition to the route.

Flybe launches Birmingham to Geneva

The flights operate on Saturdays and Sundays, starting on 17th December. Here are the flight times:

  • BE1911 departs at 7:15am on Saturdays and 8am Sundays, arriving at 10:10am and 10:55am respectively
  • BE1912 departs Geneva at 11am on Saturdays and 11:40am on Sundays, arriving at 12 and 12:40pm respectively

The flights are available to book now on the Flybe website, with prices starting from £59.99 one-way. These peak over the school holidays at over £100 each way in some cases.

    Jet2 also offer flights from
BHX-GVA and will be flying the same schedule as flybe with flights on both Sat/Sun

If anyone wins and would like to gift their prize, I will gladly accept 😊

100 cruises is a pretty generous prize pot. Thanks Team.

With the offers they’ve had on point redemptions as well are they struggling to get numbers on board?

    • Rob says:

      Yes.

Although, looking at forum reports, there was a massive spike last week as the promos kicked in and the staff were struggling to cope, especially because the new loyalty scheme kicked in at the same time.

    Entered the Virgin Cruise competition
I always feel with these sorts of things that if you dont tick the box to allow them to Spam you with offers , then they are not likely to give you the prize …

  • ADS says:

Presumably FlyBE are only operating Q400s ?

Best bring earplugs for the journey !

  • Nick_M says:

Has anybody else had issues with the Virgin Red app? I am logged in on my phone but it doesn’t show how many miles I have (and won’t link to my account)… I have been able to login via a browser using the same email address etc?

  • TimM says:

If Virgin offered those repo cruises for points I would be interested. I did Singapore to Rome over 24 nights with Royal Caribbean many years ago and it was one of the best. Taking in bits of the Far East, Middle East and Europe on one trip is extraordinary.

That’s some good levelling up (the Birmingham to Geneva route)
