citizenM already has a free loyalty programme, mycitizenM, but you don’t earn points. Instead members get access to a range of offers including a best price guarantee and refer-a-friend benefits.

However, citizenM has recently introduced a subscription element to the programme called mycitizenM+. Subscribers get a number of additional guaranteed benefits which we will look at below.

The mycitizenM+ subscription costs £9 per month. However, citizenM is offering Head for Points readers an exclusive 3-month free trial of the service when you use the code HEADFORPOINTS3 by 31st October 2022.

What benefits will I get from mycitizenM+?

mycitizenM+ members get attractive benefits which are genuinely useful:

If you use citizenM hotels regularly, these benefits make the subscription well worth considering.

Late check-out usually costs £29 to non mycitizenM+ members. 10% off a room costing £269 (the starting price for citizenM Tower of London) saves you £26.90. This means that in just one stay you could recoup the cost of five months membership.

Your guaranteed late check out is until 2pm, so if you have a late flight back, or are on a weekend break, you can have a leisurely morning at the hotel without the pressure of checking out before noon.

How to unlock the offer

Head to the citizenM site using this bespoke link and click the ‘start for free’ link.

If you are not a member of mycitizenM, you will be prompted to enrol to enable this offer. It’s a very quick process and there’s even a handy ‘passwordless sign in’ which I find very useful.

Once enrolled, you should be automatically directed to the mycitizenM+ purchase page. After completing the contact details section, there’s a promotion code section. Ensure you use the code HEADFORPOINTS3 and you will see the membership cost go from £9/€10 to £0.

You do need to enter your credit card details, so please note that after the free three months, you will be charged. You can cancel your membership at any time via your profile section on the website.
