Avis has launched a very decent Avios bonus offer if you are planning to rent a car before 15th December.

You will receive 9 Avios per £1 spent on your rental. This compares to the standard rate of 5 Avios per £1.

The rules are:

• you must rent a Group C car or above
• you must rent for 3+ days
• you must book by 31st October
• you must pick up your rental by 15th December
• you must either book at carhire-ba.com or the car hire pages of ba.com or (pre-paid rentals only) at avis.co.uk
• you must use the official BA discount codes (Gold members N744400, Silver members N744300, Bronze members N284300, Blue members N744100) 

The offer is valid at ‘all participating rental locations worldwide’, whatever that means.
