Some Winter Sale inspiration

After a busy Christmas and New Year, it could be a good time to take a break and make the most of the Hilton Winter Sale.

There are a couple of newly opened Hilton hotels in the Middle East that could provide some welcome winter sun.

Hilton Bahrain opened earlier this year and is included in the offer, as is the brand new Hilton Dubai Palm Jumeirah, with it’s private stretch of beach and impressive views.

Closer to home, Canopy by Hilton Paris Trocadero is just a Eurostar away and is getting good reviews. The rooftop bar and some of the suites have views over the Eiffel Tower, perfect for a romantic, if slightly clichéd, Valentine’s break.

However, if staying on British soil seems a better idea, Fellows House Cambridge, which we reviewed in 2021 here, is also included in the Hilton Winter Sale, as is Canopy by Hilton London City which Rhys reviewed this time last year.

  • Tarmohamed says:

Just checked in to Hilton Yas Island for a few nights, had originally booked a semi flexible rate but 6 days out it made sense to change the rate to the Honors Sale which was a good saving. No room upgrade apart from better view but been given access to exec lounge as Gold

  • Nate1309 says:

Loyalty lobby reported yesterday a change in global t&cs that looks to be heading to no free breakfast. I really hope this isn’t the case after qualifying for diamond next year.

  • roberto says:

Have 4 nights in Malta next year at €187 pn booked last month, no money down and cancellable 24hrs before and now in the sale at €185 but pay now and non cancellable.

  • Andy says:

Appreciate this is a sponsored article but no ‘before & after’ price comparisons’? The figures would probably not look too appealing. Disappointed to see ‘sale’ prices at Hilton LHR T4 now more expensive than previous lowest rates for dates in March.

    • Rob M says:

Same has happened to a booking I made 2 weeks ago for March 2022 – booked semi flex. Now in the “sale” it is more expensive for the same exact semi-flex honours rate . I wouldn’t book in this sale assuming the room is a deal compared to a non-sale price.

  • Pointofview says:

This sale is about as much use as a chocolate teapot.

  • Ian says:

given that prices do fluctuate, I prefer to keep mine as cancellable to be able to switch to a better rate than save a couple of pounds.

  • Simon Schus says:

Sale appears to exclude Hilton Manchester Deansgate (checked several dates).

    • Nick says:

Just booked a sales rates at Deansgate (only a tenner off though compared to pre sales) for 30th Dec, so they have some dates

      • Simon Schus says:

Weird! It must be the dates I’m trying. Weekend and mid-week dates in early February and end of February.

  • John says:

With flights and GB trains being unreliable and this situation probably lasting for some time longer, I’m not going to book any prepaid rates unless it’s very close to the stay date.
