Radisson Rewards, the Radisson Blu / Radisson RED / Park Inn / Park Plaza hotel group, is still running its generous promotion to encourage you to book with its mobile app.

You will earn 3,000 bonus Radisson Rewards points for the first cash stay of 2+ nights that you book via the Radisson Rewards app.

Radisson Rewards app booking bonus

It is valid for any paid stay at Radisson Collection, Radisson Blu, Radisson RED, Radisson, Park Plaza, Park Inn and Country Inns & Suites hotel in Europe, the Middle East, Asia Pacific and Africa. The Americas are not included following the separation of Radission Rewards and Radisson Rewards Americas.

This offer is no longer as generous as it was.

Following the massive devaluation of Radisson Rewards last year, I now value a Radisson Rewards point at around 0.2p.

This means that the bonus points are worth £6 which isn’t a massive return unless you booking a cheap Park Inn stay.

Full details of the offer are here.

If you want to learn more about how Radisson Rewards works, have a look at our review.

There is no deadline published, so if the offer still shows when you click through then you should assume it is still running.

How to earn Radisson Rewards points and status from UK credit cards

How to earn Radisson Rewards points and status from UK credit cards (April 2024)

Radisson Rewards does not have a dedicated UK credit card. However, you can earn Radisson Rewards points by converting Membership Rewards points earned from selected UK American Express cards.

These cards earn Membership Rewards points:

Membership Rewards points convert at 1:3 into Radisson Rewards points which is a very attractive rate.  The cards above all earn 1 Membership Rewards point per £1 spent on your card, which converts to 3 Radisson Rewards points.

Even better, holders of The Platinum Card receive free Radisson Rewards Premium status for as long as they hold the card.  It also comes with Hilton Honors Gold, Marriott Bonvoy Gold and MeliaRewards Gold status.  We reviewed American Express Platinum in detail here.

After Radisson changed their reward scheme my Radisson stays have gone from rare to non-existent. This certainly won’t change that.

  • The Savage Squirrel says:

Not breaking ranks here either. Used to do a number of paid-for stays but not now. Middle digit in your direction, Radisson.

  • Ben says:

    No thanks.

  • Tetly1967 says:

Me too, I’m afraid Radisson has become ‘chain of last resort’ since the changes to the reward scheme

  • David Cohen says:

Another one that refuses to stay there. If I’m in the Nordics, I’ll got for one of the Thon or other local chains where I know I’ll get no points of use, rather than stay where I’ll get screwed over.

  • Wally1976 says:

I decided to book a Radisson the other day to use up some points I have lying around and found that the cash price (and hence the points price) was significantly cheaper through the app than the website. Also using the discount booster I get as a Premium member (from Amex plat) got the price down further.

    • Radiata says:

Really the sole reason I check when traveling. In this vein found the Radisson Blu Umhlanga cheaper than the now four star Hilton Garden Inn up the road.
Premium membership- via Amex Plat – also led to an upgrade and lounge access.

Agree change to scheme has gutted it though and rather surprised to see the article describe Radisson as being generous bb

  • TM says:

Transferred all my points out of Radisson to Avios at the crap rate they give – never staying there again since the devaluation with no notice

  • Blair Waldorf Salad says:

Frustratingly Radisson remain a near monopoly operator of on-site airport hotels in much of Europe. Through gritted teeth I have 3 stays with them this year – Zurich, Manchester, Dublin. All single night stays before very early flights. Dublin sticks in the craw most as my parents live 20 min drive away but won’t be at home that night 🙁

    • Peter K says:

Why not stay at a near airport hotel? It’s often only 5-10 mins in a transfer?

    • Mike says:

At Manchester, the Holiday Inn and Ibis Budget are now nearer choices for T2 than the Radisson. For T1, the Radisson is still more convenient than the two above. The Doubletree annoys me by having to pay a third party to go a a relatively short distance (less the money more the having to sort out) because of the poor pavement/connectivity makes dragging a couple of large suitcases wearing a backpack in the dark whilst getting rained on a pain and the cheapskates at Hilton scrapped their hotel bus.
