Forums Frequent flyer programs British Airways Executive Club Aer Lingus – can you earn BA tier points yet?

Back in September there was an announcement that Aer Lingus was joining the BA partnership and you would be able to earn and redeem Avios and Tier Points. Does anyone know if that ever happened? I have looked on BA.Com and various other web sites but it appears to still not be in place.
We are travelling in May and are wondering if we should just credit to Aer Lingus and transfer across later or is it still worth crediting to BA and forgetting about tier points? Any thought welcome. We are travelling in Business P class.

P class wont get you anything on BA. Look here: https://www.wheretocredit.com/aer-lingus/p

There’s been no announcement yet but BA dropped the ball last month by accidentally publishing web pages showing Aer Lingus as a TP earning partner but they were pulled after a few days.

We just flew business on AL. My wife credited her BAEC And got 10000 Avios. I credited AerClub and got 655 and I have a complaint being ignored.

Thanks looks like BAEC is the way to go for now and ignore tier points.

But as I pointed out above you’ll get zero avios crediting to BA on a P class ticket

If your ticket price was over 100 euro you’d have been better crediting to Aer Lingus at 3/Euro but if it was cheaper you did the right thing.

It does seem to be coming – the chart appeared on ba.com recently by mistake – finally, but no idea when.
