The new toll road from DPS to Sanur means that it’s a better journey than on the other coast to Seminyak, Canggu etc. The brand new Meru hotel has been doing some ‘pre-launch’ offers – it’s stunning with a fab pool and in a brilliant location at the top end, although perhaps a little corporate compared to the likes of the Andaz. Interestingly the govt are building an international hospital aimed at health tourism. We didn’t see the IC.

highly recommend Sangsaka restaurant in Seminyak. Also Barbacoa was very good. Grab app was excellent for taxis.
