Good afternoon from The Fellows House in Cambridge which, on first impressions, seems like a decent spot.

We have two interconnecting bedrooms separated by a small lounge / kitchen area overlooking an internal courtyard. For the purists, there are eight stealable hangers and two fluffy robes per room, plenty of USB-A points, White Company toiletries in the bathroom (shower only) but relatively flimsy looking toilet roll.

Despite being a pre-paid stay booked just before the offer ended, I received the email from Amex to say I had triggered the £50 cash back.

There is a small but functional gym area and a comedy 2 lane width pool. Google says it’s a 20 minute walk in to the centre and we’re in a predominantly residential area. Apparently it opened in the middle of 2021 but the rooms and common areas still look very new.
