Hi all,
My partner and I are about to combine our finances soon, and we need to choose a “permanent” credit card to manage our shared spending. Unlike most people on HfP, my partner prefers simplicity.
We expect to spend about £20K on the card, and occasionally traveling to Heathrow for BA flights.
Based on the above, is the Barclaycard Avios (Free version) still the most suitable card for our needs?

I’m with @Andrew on this, for all sorts of reasons. In addition to these, one of the big benefits I’ve found of separate accounts is this it makes individual purchases on discretionary spending a non-issue. Try it for x years, and you can always pool later.
