Agree with CE. I do think it’s the way to go.

THB Tropical Island. Had to be a cheap and cheerful break as we’ve a couple of expensive trips planned in 2025 and hotels here are £££ this time of year. But actually it’s very clean, well maintained and although sold out it feels half empty, no sun bed wars ! Bit of a walk to civilisation but we don’t mind that and we’ve got a car anyway

@Reney sorry about you and your family, sounds like a nightmare! Hope you get sorted out and back to the UK ASAP. This week does seem extremely tricky for accommodation availability at all let alone at reasonable cost
