Isn’t HN one of the few that issues their own gift cards even if purchased remotely? wondering if you could do an order for 1 item+ card. HN may also give store credit for any items you need to return in person the New Year or do an exchange? If you’d gifted items purchased I’m sure they would also have a similar solution in the New Yesr for giftee. On this day I’d think about trying one of these solutions rather than lose the credit as there are a number of things I buy fhat don’t cost any more at HN than elsewhere

Unfortunately for gift cards they only have a minimum of £75 denomination and the delivery is £7.50 which largely defeats the purpose and has the potential of not paying out.

EDIT: Thanks for the tip, just had a look at the email they sent again and seems like they gave a free delivery so gift card ordered with free delivery with the hopes £50 does pay out.
