@davefl @dundj thanks, can’t wait to book as it’s emergency travel. .That’s why this trip has to be on BA or QR, as peak travel period for route so no savings to be had without too much risk. Also have to go from closest airport only, which fsvours BA and QR rather than dodgier sets of carriers for no saving. If I had time I’d be lookkng at Eastern Eur start point and would probably save a bit but no time to manoeuvre to do that.

So for tbis trip I need to book with who I know and get on a plane pretty quick and it’s some combo of BA and QR flight numbers, bought from one of them, or just pissibly CX flights under CX flight numbers (more likely than BA numbers) bought from BA.

If I had more time to book it’d be a Star Alliance or even a Skyteam trip.

I just want to use the flights as basis for 1 year or so of OneWorld status since for urgency I’m flying QR and/or BA. Then I’m back to Star Alliance.

Thinking to credit to prob AY or AS. Crediting to BA is now a waste of time. Flying them’s bad enough long haul Y. Flights are longhaul and likely Y due to high seasonal cost all classes, small chance may be J.
