After BA’s commercial suicide last week it seems ebay are doing the same.

After touting the benefits of their new model last year and telling private sellers the funds are in their account to do what they want, including paying for postage etc, the new model charges buyers 4%+75p from only the private sellers and critically sellers don’t get their funds until delivery is confirmed.

Goodbye ebay, it’ll now be a platform for commercial sellers only.
