Good morning from the Kimpton Blythswood Square where we are finally using our last two Creation free nights! We’re both still showing as 💎 so we’ve been upgraded to a premium room on the 5th floor with a balcony, very handy for January in Glasgow 😂

All very nice, especially the bathroom which has a separate bath & shower, and both kinds of shower attachment! Plentiful tea and coffee and 2 G & Ts on the table to welcome us. The only shocker was NO Tunnock’s caramel wafers in the tuck box; I thought they might be cost-cutting or implementing a post-Xmas health regime, but it turned out to be an oversight and now we have two of those as well.

It’s quite busy and our room wasn’t ready until 3.30 pm yesterday. We were fussed, but they gave us 2 drinks vouchers by way of apology.

Free access to the gorgeous is 7.30 am to 9.30 am, and 4 pm to 8 pm (an extra hour in the evening over the festive period). We went in last night after happy hour (decent red & white), it was quite busy but not so much that you couldn’t use all the different bits.

Off out shortly to see the cathedral and do a bit of shopping.
