Going to Washington for a few nights with the kids (11 and 7) and will do the usual museums etc. However, I understand you can also book a tour of the Whitehouse. If your a resident, you do this via the White House or your Member of Congress. If you are a citizen of a foreign country, it asks to please contact your embassy in Washington, D.C. Has anyone had a success with this and how does it work?
Are you from Clacton by any chance? Your MP can get you special access in two weeks time.
I’m not – but thanks for the kind heads up. As per one of the other posts, my sister-in-law is American (niece and nephew are too) and my brother has a green card, might see if it’s something they can sort 🙂
