Thanks. Looks like we would fly via PEK rather than PKX. Surprisingly Mr 11 y/o who has shown no interest in any other city seems interested in “China”, so maybe we’ll do a stopover after all. What would you put on a one day itinerary with an 8 y/o and 11 y/o in tow?

We (with our 11-yr old!) did an excellent 4-hour Tian’anmen Square and Forbidden City visit with Discover Beijing Tours. Just the right length, great explanations, drink pit-stops, etc. And as @JDB says, after that, just somewhere great to eat!
