I had a terrible experience with Amex chat last year over a missing credit that appeared on the last day of the offer but didn’t pay out. They simply refused to help saying it wasn’t in time even though I could see it was. I don’t understand tbh but I was using the Amex nectar so maybe I don’t qualify as a “high value customer” or whatever. In the end after going back and forth with chat I wrote it off. Think it was about £1 from rail tickets via LNER but was just surprised they put up a fight. Also I received “delayed offer credit” of £4.24 last week and have literally no idea what that may have related to or when. Just popped up.
