Well off topic here, but I am having a bathroom fitted and have got a lot of metal, shower, massive old school radiator, huge taps etc from the old bathroom and was wondering if any of you know how I can recycle it and maybe even get a few quid for it (cost of new bathroom being extortionate!) Plus I don’t want it to go into landfill. Thanks to anyone who knows.

I have collected a fair bit of copper during my ongoing renovation work and was advised to take it to the local scrap metal yard (a company called EMR in my area) to sell it for cash. I’m not really sure if it will be worth it or not but worth a go!

I guess you live in London, if there is a local EMR!
EMR (European metal recycling) another company I contracted to, are one of the biggest metal recycling companies in Europe, run by the Shepard brothers, you would get a better price from a smaller company, as EMR concentrate more on the commercial operation side of things!

These are commercial prices so divide up by your volume to get an idea
