Morning all from the kitty convalescent home.
Can anyone explain Ryanair’s checked bag policy?! Long story short I want to add a 20kg checked bag to a booking where I already have a 10kg cabin bag plus the small bag. The wording on the Ryanair website suggests that if I check in a 10kg or 20kg bag, I can then only take my small bag on board, i.e. I would forego the 10kg cabin bag I’ve already paid for.
When I do a dummy run to add the 20kg it says “Leave your bag at the check in desk and board hands-free” or something similar, suggesting that if you’re checking in a bag, you can then only take a small item on board.
This seems ridiculous but I don’t want to pay £60 and then find I’m effectively only getting an extra 10kg!
try “priority+2” and adding the checked bag
