@can2, how long have you had the card? Ours was the paid one initially, then after about 4 months the offer to change to the free card appeared in the app, but people have reported in the threads that it’s taken longer than that, sometimes 12 months I think.
We downgraded as the SUB and first voucher had been triggered at that point; I personally don’t think the paid card gives enough benefits to be worth £20 a month!
Likewise I first got the paid card when it first came out some years ago, then, downgraded some 6mo later. Now I cannot upgrade.
There are some large non-Amex spend is coming in, I can certainly benefit from the %50 more earning rate.
