Anyone had any issues upgrading from Gold Cedit to Platinum Credit on the offer?
Used the link and ticked the boxes but ends up with the following error: We’re sorry. We are unable to complete your product transfer at this time.
If you would like to continue, please contact Customer Service or try again later.Tried a few times and the same error. I thought it could be down to putting a Business Platinum appliction a few days ago but then again there doesn’t appear to be any credit check on the upgrade so not sure if it’s just a technical glitch.
Doesn’t the offer end in about thirty minutes from time of writing?
23:59 on 11th October from what I read unless I’m mistaken?
I did the upgrade yesterday morning no problems, all seemed very slick.
And I believe the deadline for the 40k offer is midnight tonightThe same thing happened to me – tried a few times with the same error message. Tried again the next morning and it went through
Just an update for those thinking the offer has ended, you still have until 11:59pm tonight.
From the upgrade link: The 40,000 Membership Rewards bonus points will be awarded onto your Account once you have been approved and you have spent and charged £4,000 within the first three months of Cardmembership. It is only available if you have upgraded from the American Express Preferred Rewards Gold Credit Card product. This introductory offer is subject to change and will be withdrawn at any time. Please note that it can take up to 60 days for bonus points to be awarded to your Account. You will not receive this bonus if you have ever received an Upgrade bonus before. Offer ends 11 October 2022 11:59pm.
Must have been a technical glitch last night, just tried again and went through instantly.
Having same issue now… Left it a bit late I guess…
