Amex reapplying clock – when does the 13/24 month wait start

I am looking to re-apply for the Business Platinum card. I have held the card before and last cancelled around 24th April 2022. I know there is a 13 month gap to wait out but looking back at my old statements the membership was credited on the 27th April but i had a further credit adjustment (in my favour) on the 3rd August 2022 which was refunded to me on the 7th September.

So does the 13 month clock start on 24 or 27th April, 3rd August or 7th September when the last activity was?

Its from the date you closed the account. You should have received an email/letter stating the date. Before applying contact chat and double check.
