Trying to open the BA app on a Galaxy S10 this morning, it won’t open and getting an error “app has a bug, please download again after developer has a fix”.
Its been wrerched for a week now with ‘no connection” pop ups but today it feels dead.
Anyone else? Apologies if this is a dupe thread.
Exactly the same here, couldn’t use it for at least a week due to be it not being able to get a connection even though everything else on my phone could.
Now as soon as I login the app crashes.
Same here. Occasionally it will load (maybe 1 in 6 attempts) but I would not rely om it for my boarding passes. Used to be fine so it is rather annoying.
Upgraded to a new phone over the weekend and the same has happened to me. Sometimes it’ll let me log-in and then crash, sometimes it won’t let me log-in at all, most of the time it just crashes.
For the last couple of weeks the app has been telling me my log in details are no longer valid even though they still work fine on my laptop!
I normally go for the clear cache, clear data, log back in approach to kick start it back into life. Such a poor experience.
Losing it with BA now – the stupid photo quiz when you can log in, the too busy for you messages, poor avios 241 avialability heading east.
With cash prices falling, now looking at paid flights to Indonesia and the US.
Done all the clear data and caches etc, makes no difference. Its knacked.
Been playing up for over a month now for me, done all the clear cache, clear data, delete, reinstall, restart phone… total waste of time.
Just went direct to BA.com to manage the bookings last 3 trips now, download and screenshot boarding passes. The BA app has always been ropey, but it is now totally useless, an absolute joke
