Hi, I have a BA Companion Ticket expiring 25th Aug 2025. Do I need the return leg of the trip before this expiry or just the outbound flight? Thanks
Just the outbound, then you have 12 months to take the inbound.
Wow! That would be a long time in India. Thanks and all the best 🙂
De nada! It doesn’t need to be the same trip, btw, if you find a better way of returning from India.
For the avoidance of doubt, since it hasn’t been mentioned, you do need to book the return flight more than 24 hours in advance of the outbound and ideally at the same time as booking the outbound so as to avoid later change fees. Once it’s booked, you can change the date of the return (subject to availability and change fees), but usually nothing else.
