-
My son has just come on overnight from Aus, to say that BA have slashed there ‘charges ‘ significantly on Qatar routes. He will send me examples later.
Perhaps Rob etc., could check this one out re ex UK departures. There seems to be a £50 BA premium on Qatar ex-UK bookings if you book on ba.com. Other starting points seem equal vs using the Qatar website.
Interestingly this is the same £50 premium that BA adds to Aer Lingus vs bookings on avios.com.
There isn’t a huge difference from what charges BA used to add to Qatar redemptions but you also need to factor in the reduced number of Avios required eg just 180k for Australia on Qatar.
