BA to Finnair Avios – HouseHold Account & a Japan Question

Hi all,

Do you know if you can transfer household avios account between BA and Finnair ?

Would love your thoughts on this, but also, looking at Japan, and I can get 1 seat in Business to Shanghai (with 50% off Avios using a companion ticket) and 1 normal redemption (Business and Prem Eco).. however was thinking do I just cancel and go with Finnair direct, which may be a little more, but cancels the hassle.
