Does anyone know what is the cancellation charge for ticket booked using upgrade voucher. It is quite clear for Amex but cant find any detail for Barclays.
Cancellation charges relate to the type of booking, not to any vouchers or cards used in the process. As long as you cancel an avios booking more than 24 hours before departure, you’ll receive all the avios back and whatever cash you’ve paid minus £35pp. In the event that you paid less than this, you just lose whatever you paid – though there have been reports of people only losing 50p or £1 regardless recently. This might just be an IT blip so shouldn’t be relied on, though.
Cancellation terms should all be in your original booking confirmation as well.
