Got an email from Barclays about their new rewards page. I think they tried to consolidate all the prize draws and freebies available to Premier customers. It’s a pain to get to via the app but I worth a visit… at a minimum do get a £4 voucher from Tesco to get strawberries and cream!! 🤣

I bagged it anyway of course. Thanks for highlighting it! (You don’t literally have to buy strawberries and cream with it, it’s just a £4 gift card. The strawberries-and-cream branding is to highlight some kind of thing they have going on with Wimbledon.)
Yeah last yeah they were offering all Premier customers free strawberries and cream at Wimbledon , so looks like they’ve changed it slightly so everyone effectively claim an equivalent amount
The one that grabbed me is 12 months LTA advantage membership which gives you pretty much guaranteed tickets for Wimbledon if you are on the ball.
Saves £20.
@Froggee ohh that’s good to know. I managed to get last minute tickets via Amex in the last couple of years, but didn’t have any luck so far this year.
On the LTA note, is it just a matter of keeping an eye on their offers to members or is there anything else that needs to be done?
@RV there is one proper shot which happens when the ticket returns are sold for which you get a priority window. There are a lot of ticket returns so if you are on the ball you will get tickets for the show courts without too much difficulty. As an example, I missed the boat a bit this year as I was at the physio when they were released but still got quarter finals on #1 court.
They do not overly publicise the sale but they do vaguely flag it. It was 16th April last year but 27th March this year. I knew it was coming but I did not know it was happening until they sent an email out saying the priority window was open.

Yes I had the same period of uncertainty as it’s not entirely clear, but the barcode is the gift card so just save a screenshot of it. If you pay at a self service till select ‘Giftcard’ and scan it, or presumably just tell a check out operator that you have a gift card.
A phone screenshot worked fine for me the other day.
