Best way to get to Singapore or SE Asia using Avios

I have approx 250k avios and am looking to fly from Glasgow to Singapore and fly back to Glasgow from Kuala Lumpur, so Im not bothered where changeovers are. It’s for 3 people and we can use 2 Companion Vouchers. I am able to book 355 days ahead. Do I need to have 330,000 avios flying BA off peak or is there an alternative option I’m not aware of?

Correct. You can however change your mix of Avios and cash so don’t necessarily need the 330k.

With companion vouchers, BA via LHR is really your best option.

Just note that you will only be able to use both vouchers if they are in separate names. You can’t use 2 vouchers for 3 people if both vouchers belong to the same person.

If you want to utilise those companion vouchers, BA from Heathrow is your best option. You can also mix Avios and cash if you don’t have sufficient points at booking.
