Hi – is anybody else having issues booking domestic flights using avios?
I am trying to book flights to EDI in Oct.
I know there is availability, but when I search I get an error messaging saying: There was a problem with your request, please try again later
I can search and book long haul and Europe, just not domestic.
Is my only option to phone the Club and ask them to book and waive the fee?
Phoning is probably the only way. I have had this issue booking to Belfast to LHR. It would allow Belfast to Amsterdam via LHR – just not direct to LHR. Adding AMS I could see there was plenty of availability on the BHD-LHR flights but the website just have the error you are getting. The website was fixed a few weeks later and I booked. If you want to do it quickly you will have to phone.
I had this issue last year and had to call in the end. It did seem to rectify itself after that, however.
Many thanks both. I will call them in that case. I seem to be able to book for earlier time periods, but not for Oct.
