Using credit card voucher for Clubhouse voucher

Hi, I may have to burn a voucher that’s about to expire, and that means a clubhouse voucher.
I am presently gold but it’s about to expire – will I still get two vouchers if I complete the transaction before gold expires but use them later? And are they free-to-use as I please, or do they need to be associated with a specific flight at the time of purchase?

You should get two vouchers, so long as you tell them before the Gold status expires. They are free to use as you please. You opt which flights to use them on when redeeming, which you do by phone to Flying Club.

When I spoke to VS the agent told me the voucher couldn’t be used on a booking beyond the credit card voucher’s expiry date. Is this consistent with others experience?
