Been downgraded from the dizzy heights of Bronze to scum level blue, I did what was suggested and joined RJ and now Silver jay in RJ.
I now need to change my number in my booking from BA exec to RJ so I can get seats 7 days out and then change back before departure and for the life of me cannot work out how! Thank you for time!Call up and ask. An expert agent can change the booking so your preferred status for baubles and earning and separate. Although why you would want to credit anything to British Airways at this point is beyond me.

The Fiji airways website worked for me yesterday, credit to karfa on flyertalk.
So it looks like X is the way to go. But from now on new bookings add Rj first within the 7 days change back to BA. Honestly thought you could do this online so does seem a faff.
Did this via BA chat when logged in on the website. Did take about an hour to go from 8th in queue to actually get an agent, but they updated all 5 of my bookings with my RJ number without any issue. Seats all booked now.
